• What happens when new versions of Windows are released?
  
  As far as possible we will endeavour to adapt all products to new versions of Windows as soon as is feasible. As part of that adaptation some features may be removed or changed and other new features may be added.
  
  
• Are the products within the Toolkit compatible with Windows 7?
  
  Yes. The Toolkit was formally tested on 2 out-of-the-box Windows 7 laptops - these formal tests included the Tactile Units. Following on from these initial tests end users have also tested the Toolkit products under Windows 7. We are therefore reasonably certain that there is good Windows 7 compatibility in all permutations ie number of bits / home-premium / upgrade-fresh install / CPU type.
  
  
• Do you maintain an issues list?
  
  Click here to view our historical issues list. Our current emphasis has been to resolve known issues more or less as soon as the issue is known to us and / or document issues on the product pages. We do not like to allow issues to accumulate or remain unactioned. An all new issues list covering all products is planned for the close of 2011, probably sooner. We may simply create a new section on each of the product pages. An issue is not fully recognised as being an issue until replicated by us and / or reported by multiple users. An issue affecting a single system is most likely due to an issue with that specific system.

  (1) Restart your system, then redownload the MSI installation file - the file may simply be an incomplete download. When downloading ensure that no other programs are running. (2) Run Windows update to ensure that there are no pending updates for your system, then retest. (3) XP / Vista: If solution (2) does not change the error message update the Microsoft installation program: Search the Microsoft downloads site for "Windows MSI Installer Version 4.5 Redistributable": http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/ http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa371185(v=vs.85).aspx
